Malek Spinning, a Narayanganj-based textile company, offered 40 million shares for public to raise Tk 1.0 billion from the stock market. Offer value of its share has been fixed at Tk 25, including premium of Tk 15.

Established in 1999, it will be the 18th listed textile company on the stock exchanges- -Dhaka Stock Exchange and Chittagong Stock Exchange — after RN Spinning Mills Ltd that made debut in early February.

Its subsidiaries include Salek Textile Limited, Knit Asia Limited and Rahim Textile Mills Ltd, which is a listed company.

The raised fund will be used for the implementation of the company’s expansion programme and setting up chemical chip and fibre plants.
